Not only is the sequel to the acclaimed Breath of the Wild finally coming out after years of teases, but there are many other juggernauts that gamers can look forward to, like the hotly anticipated remake of Resident Evil 4, the next entry in the mainline Final Fantasy series, a new IP from Bethesda, Street Fighter 6, Pikmin 4, Dead Island 2, and the list goes on and on.

Updated on February 8, 2023: We've updated our 2023 video game release date calendar with some brand-new titles. With the huge Nintendo Direct that happened this week, many games have gotten confirmed release dates. We've added Metroid Prime Remastered, the Advance Wars remaster, Pikmin 4, Sea of Stars, and a bunch more.
So that gamers everywhere can stay up to date with all the video games coming out in 2023, this article will stay up to date with the release dates (and delays) for the biggest games this year. Down below, readers can find all 2023 video games and their respective platforms and release dates organized by month. At the end of the list are the 2023 games that currently have no release date. We'll make sure to come back every week or so to update any titles that have gotten new release dates.
January 2023 will have plenty of different titles for players to choose from, including a variety of genres. The iconic One Piece manga gets the RPG treatment with One Piece Odyssey; Persona 3 and 4 are coming to modern consoles for the first time; Fire Emblem Engage drops on the Switch; the Dead Space remake comes out; and, from the team that made Final Fantasy 15, comes a new action-RPG called Forspoken.

For February 23, 2023, a bulk of the major video game releases come as part of the launch of Sony's upcoming VR system, PSVR 2. There's also the current-gen release of Hogwarts Legacy, a new entry in the Final Fantasy rhythm series, Threatrhythm: Final Bar Line; Tales of Symphonia is getting a remaster; Octopath Traveler's sequel is coming out; and there's even a brand-new Destiny 2 expansion.

And for those that aren't Zelda fans, Rocksteady is set to launch its Suicide Squad game just two weeks after Tears.
